Childcare in Stockholm
You meet your nanny before you decide
My name is Aleksandra and I run Happy Nanny. I interview every nanny myself, and you get to know her in your own home, free of charge, before you say yes. After that you get the same nanny every time, not a new one every week.
From 165 SEK per hour after RUT, the Swedish tax deduction for household services. The exact rate depends on the number of hours.

Why we exist
Childcare is not the hard part. The planning is.
The meeting runs late. The train is cancelled. Preschool closes at five and you are two people with three calendars. You sort it out, every time. But you sort it out from scratch every time.
What we sell is not hours. It is the same person turning up on Tuesdays and Thursdays, knowing your child needs twenty minutes before she feels like talking, and collecting from the right preschool without you having to explain which one.
How it works
Four steps, and none of them costs anything until you have decided
1You get in touch
Call 073-720 44 32 or email info@happynanny.se. Tell us which days and hours you need help, and how old the children are.
2I suggest a nanny
I match on age, personality, hours and language. If you want the children to hear a particular language at home, this is where you say so.
3You meet her at your home
Your nanny comes to your home for about 30 minutes, meets the children, and you ask whatever you like. Free of charge, and you commit to nothing.
4The first session
I call afterwards to ask how it went. From then on it is the same nanny who comes, week after week.
What families say
Reviews we cannot edit, and would not want to
“Aleksandra is an incredibly competent and reliable nanny. She has looked after our children since they were very young (6 months) up to the age of 3. We feel very safe with the help we get.”

From me
I never wanted to build an agency
I have worked with children for more than ten years. When I started Happy Nanny in 2023, it was because I wanted families to know who was coming, not to get a new person every week from a list.
That is why we are small, and why we intend to stay that way. I would rather take on three new families a month and do it well than twenty and do it by halves.
